Risograph printing is a fast, affordable way of producing high-quality prints. Students will learn the basics of Risograph printing including essential information on colours, layouts and print areas.

This workshop is great for anyone who is interested in printing, but is unfamiliar with Risograph printing or is already an established graphic designer or illustrator and wants to be able to come in to The Rizzeria and print for themselves in the future.

All students will be shown how The Rizzeria booking system works, if you would like to stay after the class to print your own designs please email us at workshop@rizzeria to check availability.

The workshop usually is around 1 hour but can run over depending on how many people attend and questions asked.

** Please note ** This workshop is at our new home in the Joynton Avenue Creative Centre, not at our previous Marrickville space.

Traffic around this area can be quite busy, so allow yourself plenty of time if driving. There is free parking in the local streets, but JACC is just a few minutes walk from Green Square station and bus stops.

The 'Learn to Riso Print' workshop was great — I'd printed at the Rizzeria previously but wanted to understand more about how it worked, so found the explanation and demonstration really helpful, and pretty inspiring to see all the gorgeous samples of work.

I learned the basics of how to use the riso printer and techniques to print different effects. The instructor shared her own personal experience using the printer and how to achieve certain looks. IMHO, It was a very good value especially if you are planning to use the printer there, rather than jumping into booking the printer without having a clue. At the end of the workshop, we were shown works from artists/illustators/designers and it really gave you perspective on what the printer can do. Kitty, the instructor, was very lovely and friendly.
